🏁 RACING FOR WAYLON – THIS SATURDAY AT CORBIN KART TRACK ❤️

We wanted to let everyone know what to expect this Saturday for our Racing for Waylon race and share a little about how we plan to raise money for two very special causes — helping Millee Kate’s family and supporting Mott Children’s Hospital.

Here’s how we’ll be raising money throughout the day:

❤️ 30% OF ALL GATE ADMISSION
Corbin Kart Track will be donating 30% of all gate admission directly toward these causes.

🤝 SILENT AUCTION
We’ll also be holding a silent auction featuring some great items donated to help support these causes. I’ll be posting pictures of some of the auction items so everyone can see what will be available!

More silent auction items are being added every day, so make sure to come out and see everything we have! There’s already some great stuff, and we’re thankful for everyone who has donated to help make this happen.

If you plan on bidding on any of the items, make sure you get there early so you have time to check everything out and get your bids in. We plan to announce the silent auction winners during intermission, after the heat races and before the feature races.

We’re looking forward to a great day of racing, coming together as a racing family, and helping make a difference for these two special causes.

Thank you to everyone who has donated items, supported this event, and continues to help us honor Waylon’s memory. It means more than you know. ❤️🏁

Before we hit the track Saturday, the 2nd night of the Border Wars Points Championship will take place at Buffalo Creek Raceway on Friday, October 23rd!

Two nights of racing, two great tracks, and plenty of action! We hope to see everyone at Buffalo Creek Friday night and Corbin Kart Track Saturday for the Racing For Waylon Memorial Race!

❤️🏁 RACING FOR WAYLON 🏁❤️

Around 3–4 months ago, we were contacted about the opportunity to host a memorial race in honor of Waylon Brice. Waylon tragically lost his battle with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer called DIPG this past March at just 5 years old.

After speaking with Waylon’s family and his mom, Paityn, we knew this was something we wanted to be a part of.

As we continued planning this event, we knew we wanted to honor Waylon’s life by helping others facing this same heartbreaking battle. Many of you have heard the story of precious Miss Millie Kate, another little girl from right here in Corbin who is also battling DIPG. ❤️

After much thought and discussion, all donations raised through our upcoming memorial race will be split between Millie Kate and her family and Mott Children’s Hospital, which cared for Waylon.

On Saturday, October 24th, Corbin Kart Track will host our “Racing For Waylon” Memorial Race as we honor Waylon’s courage, remember his life, and come together as a racing community to support two causes close to our hearts.

It’s heartbreaking to see families in our own community affected by DIPG. If we can use our track and our racing family to make even a small difference, we want to do our part.

We hope to see a great turnout as we come together for something much bigger than racing. ❤️

More information regarding classes, purses, donations, and other race details will be posted in the coming days.

Let’s pack the track, honor Waylon Brice, and show Millie Kate, her family, and everyone touched by Waylon’s journey the love and support of the Corbin Kart Track family. 🏁❤️

Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, and tonight’s race at Buffalo Creek Raceway has been canceled. The good news is that it has been rescheduled for Friday, October 23rd!

We’ll then turn right around and be back at Corbin Kart Track on Saturday, October 24th! 🔥🏁

We would like to make the Hoosier 350 a permanent class at Corbin Kart Track if we get good kart counts, so let's get these karts out!
