Several hundred pounds of metal and rubber bouncing down the road is gonna be a bad day.
That’s almost what happened here. The driver had to pull off the side of the road when this trailer spindle caught fire — and the wheels were getting dangerously close to coming off.
We got it cut apart, cleaned up, prepped, and welded a new spindle in.
From red hot and roadside to back on the road and making money.

Starting the week with a leaking drive spindle. That oil seal was leaking like a sieve—so off with the old, on with the new.
