Yesterday we had the pleasure of delivering this beautiful L82 vet do a very special friend of mines daughter in Raleigh North Carolina. Myself and one of my oldest friends, Scott Stirn, made it down and back trip from Connersville in less than 21 hours to get this done. Even though it was a job that we got paid for the look on the daughter's face when we delivered the car that her father gave her was absolutely priceless.

Plasti-guaging today. Oil clearance on mains is A-ok at about . 0027 and using restrictors. Also got the rods and pistons assembled. Did I mention Circlips are a BITCH!! Will have videos of rest of assembly soon.

A moment to reflect... I've worked on cars and built engines since I was a teenager. I always had to use what was available scavenge junk yards and find ways to make things work. I was pretty much raised by a single mother and my parents couldn't buy me things the way a lot of other parents did for their sons. So today when my kit came in from Timothy Meyer I felt like a kid who had got everything he wanted Christmas morning lol. It's taken me over 40 years to be able to build an engine that I truly want with the parts that I can finally afford.
So folks get ready for 408 cubic inches, 13 to 1 compression, nitrous breathing Ford Cleveland power. Look for complete pictures and video of the build on our page as well as our YouTube channel.
