This week, we're shining the spotlight on Jessie Colby, an incredible member of our Business Development Center team!
Jessie joined Palmetto Garage Works in December 2020, and she has been making an impact ever since. She began her career with PGW as a Service Advisor and worked at several of our locations before becoming the Assistant Manager of our Millwood store, where she worked for several years.
Today, Jessie plays a huge role in the BDC and brings all of that hands-on store experience with her. She is truly a jack of all trades — the kind of person who can step into just about any situation, figure out what needs to be done, and just make it happen. Jessie consistently goes above and beyond without complaint, and she is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed. She is dependable, hardworking, and genuinely amazing to work alongside.
Outside of work, Jessie enjoys playing games, listening to music, spending time with her friends, and visiting her parents. She is also the proud dog mom of Beetle, and since Beetle has just as much sass as Jessie, the two of them are truly the perfect match!
Jessie is a one-of-a-kind employee, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her as part of the Palmetto Garage Works family! Jessie, thank you for all that you do, for always going the extra mile, and for being such an important part of our team!

We’re excited to welcome two new locations...Semoran & Oviedo to the PGW family!

One of the things we love most about growing is the opportunity to build new relationships, and become part of new communities. We’re always looking for markets that feel like a great fit for PGW, and the Orlando area is definitely one!

That is an incredible accomplishment and it’s about much more than a number.

This week, we're showing some well-deserved appreciation for Dani Franks at Midas on N. Main Street in Summerville, SC!

Dani is one of those people you know you can count on. Whether she's supporting her home team, lending a hand at another location, or helping a new store get up and running, she brings the same dedication, knowledge, and car to everything she does.

Her impact reaches across the entire Palmetto Garage Works family. When there's a need, Dani is always willing to step in, and the people and stores around her are better because of it!

At her home store, Dani helps keep things organized, accurate, and running smoothly. She knows the administrative side of the business inside and out, takes pride in getting the details right, and follows through for her home team. So much of that work happens behind the scenes, but it makes a difference every single day.

Dani's consistency is truly special. Going above and beyond isn't an occasional thing for her, it's the care and effort she brings day after day along with the personality and professionalism that makes her such a valued part of our team.

Dani, thank you for showing up, stepping up, and caring so much about the people and stores you support. We're so lucky to have you in the PGW family!

This week, we’re proud to recognize one of the very best; Ron Hendriks, Lead Technician!

Ron has been part of the PGW family for nearly 9 years, and in that time, he has built quite the reputation. He’s been named Lead Technician of the Year multiple times, and this year, Ron received another well-deserved honor when he was officially inducted into the PGW Hall of Fame!

Anyone who has worked with Ron knows exactly why.

Ron is one of the most humble, hardworking, and talented technicians you’ll ever meet. His ability to diagnose and repair vehicles is truly remarkable. There isn’t much that can come through the shop doors that Ron can’t figure out, and part of what makes him such a great technician is knowing when to dig deeper, when to ask questions, and never being too proud to continue learning.

His knowledge, skill set, and experience are impressive, but it’s his work ethic and commitment to doing the job right that truly set him apart.

Around here, we like to say Ron isn’t just a great technician, he’s a unicorn.🦄 And we’re incredibly fortunate that he’s *our* unicorn!
