I also completed the mount for the CB Antenna using factory antenna pieces to give the look that it was a factory installed part. It is mounted solid under the cowl and using 3/16 plate to the cowl.

Lastly I have been researching for a while, brakes. I upgraded to 4 wheel disc brakes on this truck and wasn't sure if I could use my master cylinder or not. I was pretty sure I could not use it, but I was unclear on what to replace it with in my application. I decide on 1985 Corvette master cylinder/ booster and an after market proportioning valve. I have the system complete now and the brakes are all bled and seem at this point to be working fine.

I have spent months trying to figure out how to install a transmission oil cooler in my Waggy. Well two weeks ago I went to the salvage yard looking for something completely different and found a Grand Wagoneer with a tow package. I have never in the bazillion times I have been to the salvage yard seen a factory trans cooler in a wagoneer. Awesome find, I spent a week cleaning and refurbishing it. It came out incredibly well.

Finally got the tail gate operational. Worked for several weeks getting all the windows fully working all the way up and down freely and getting the door handles working properly. I just could not get the tail gate window to go up. I finally found a wire the was broken internally causing the issue. Well I finally got the window working and removed. I cleaned the tail gate removed all the original sound proofing and installed all new. I then cleaned the jam removed all the old seam sealer and paint, rust proofed it and primed it. It is now ready for paint.

I have also completed the metal work on the R/R quarter panel and just started the body work. This side came out much better than the L/R, I guess practice helps. Lol. I bought a stud gun to help with the body work on the other side.

I haven't posted much for several months but I have been busy. I ordered some samples of material and decal to make final choice on interior and exterior accents. I laid them on the hood so you can see them against the final color. The material is 500 denier Cordura for the inserts in the seats. The decal will take the place of all the original wood grain.
