Factory rag joints aren't made so I had to get an aftermarket one, but it is too long. I had to get creative and figure out a way to move the whole steering column rearward towards the driver. Back to making more gaskets again. I used a 1/4" thick rubber to make a split gasket/spacer so can get it around the steering shaft and also move the steering column back a litte to compensate for the longer rag joint. I doubled up on the other larger gasket to also get a little more length to move the column.

The trunk area had quite a few holes drilled through it. I guess the previous owners had stuff mounted in there. I used rubber backed stainless washers, stainless flathead bolts, and stainless lock nuts to seal up all the holes.

A few weeks ago I was surprised that the windshield wiper motor was missing. Ordered a new one and installed it today! In the last picture I used a little butyl to seal up the grommet that the wires are running through.

Built the overhead vents to replace the broken factory ones, Tessa fabric tape on the back to prevent noise and seal a little, now it is time to install. A last minute decision to angle the back to direct more airflow.
