Chad Neuenschwander hasn’t had his 1988 Ford Mustang out since the Indy race last season (where he went to the finals for the first time) but is back and ready for battle in Dart Machinery NA 10.5. A new K-member and new headers necessitated Chad rebuild the Fox body’s front end while his son, Dylan, built the car’s new Edelbrock SC1-headed 450 cubic inch small block Ford powerplant at Stanfield Racing Engines. This weekend, the Indiana-based men are lining out the new combination and are excited to be on track together as a father-and-son team. After the first round of qualifying, a 7.935 at 174.23 mph has put Chad in sixth and shows he's definitely heading in the right direction here at the Scoggin Dickey Parts Center NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem Presented by Scott’s Trailer Sales, LLC on the Red Line Synthetic Oil NMCA Muscle Car Nationals tour.

What a great weekend! New pb of 7.86, #4 in qualifying and went to the finals! Great way to finish the season!

Another great weekend at the track! Went out 2nd round with a 7.94 but got some good data and we’ll be ready for Indy next month!

Had a great weekend testing out the new setup at the NMRA/NMCA Event! We got some good data and will be ready to roll into Norwalk next month!

A huge thank you to Stanfield Racing Engines for all of their hard work, knowledge and for letting Dylan bring the motor home and helping to finish the car. He arrived Tuesday at noon and we didn’t sleep much until Friday night at the track!

Looking forward to seeing all of the potential this setup has!

Had a great time in Bowling Green!

Won the finals in Ford Muscle for the NMRA/NMCA US 131 Martin MI makeup race from July and was #1 qualifier this weekend.

Justin brought his car down and ran good too!

Kinda fun driving a bracket car but ready for the new combo for NA 10.5 next year!

Also had the car on display in the K***z & Co booth.
