Lincoln arrived with a severe misfire in two cylinders. The valve cover gasket was leaking near the spark plug hole, causing oil to accumulate. It appeared that someone had recently attempted to replace the gaskets but damaged several intake and valve cover bolt holes in the process. After dedicating a significant amount of time and effort, I successfully resolved the issue, preventing the customer from incurring the additional expense of purchasing a new lower intake. It was a typical Jeep repair. The oil pan needed to be removed in order to replace the oil pump control solenoid. In addition, the oil cooler had a significant leak, which I was able to address at the same time.
