Please join us in prayer for all those affected by this tragic crash involving a CMCSS school bus from Kenwood Middle School. I can’t even imagine the pain the families, friends, school faculty members, and first responders are going through. We are praying for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing for everyone involved.

First and foremost, our hearts are with the families impacted by this devastating loss.

Today around 12:00 p.m., Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers responded to a serious multi-vehicle crash on Highway 70 in Carroll County involving a TDOT dump truck, a Montgomery County school bus, and a passenger vehicle.

The school bus was transporting students on a field trip.

Tragically, two students on the bus were killed. Several others were injured, with multiples airlifted to trauma centers in Nashville and Memphis.

The cause of the crash remains under active investigation. We are working to gather all facts before releasing additional details.

We will provide updates as confirmed information becomes available.

We are grateful to the first responders, EMS, and flight crews whose quick actions helped save lives.

Scam alert. We got a call for a winch out this morning. It came from a roadside assistance company. They told me that the customer was going to pay us directly. I assumed that it was the customers insurance company and they were not covered for the winch out but called as a courtesy for their customer. We make contact with the customer to find out that he had paid $298 to this company thinking he was paying for the winch out. After calling this company back he finds out that was just a service charge to put him in contact with a towing company that was actually going to do the service. Please call us directly. If you don’t call us please call one of the other reputable local tow companies. No local reputable towing company will use a 3rd party answering service. Don’t get scammed like this customer did.

Don’t be lazy. Clean the ice off of your cars. Thankfully these people only have a severely damaged vehicle. This was almost much more serious than that.
