What you are about to read WILL SHOCK YOU, so proceed with caution.
But first, picture this. You walk into a dealership and fall in love with a car. You love the color, the interior, the size, and all of the features it has to offer. Better yet, the price tag is only $10,500 but you got an ADDITIONAL deal for $500 off. So now the price is $10,000 flat. You're ecstatic! You start to imagine how good your new car looks in your driveway and how good you look in it. You start to visualize all of your friends and family strain their necks in envy as they watch you drive by.
"I'll take it!" you shout as you frantically sign on the dotted line and immediately take delivery of your vehicle. Congratulations, you've just gotten your car at a steal!

You decide to shop for a better deal at another store, which is fine. Or so you think.
Here it is, two months later. You haven't found a better deal so you decide to go back for the store that gave you the best price. You walk in expecting the store to honor their previous offer but to your surprise, they offered you the car for $14,500. They still gave you a $500 discount making your price $14,000 flat, but it still isn't as good as your previous deal. You look around for something cheaper but notice that EVERY car has been marked up by close to $5,000.
WHAT HAPPENED?! Surely the dealership is running their usual games trying to get over on you, right? But what if I told you that not only has the prices at THAT particular store has increased, but ALL stores all across the nation are also increasing their prices soon? And not by just a couple hundred bucks.

- 9/24/2018 There will be a 10% tax on THOUSANDS of Chinese parts
- 1/1/2019 The tax increases to 25%
- This includes the current Mexico, Canada, and Europe Steel and Aluminum Tariff
- Price of the typical vehicle in the US will rise by at least $4,400
- Used car prices are also rising due to heightened demand and constricted supply.
- Parts will be extremely expensive and in short supply.
- Interest rates are rising
- Rebates are shrinking
What Does This Mean For You?
This means that if you are currently in search of, or on the fence about purchasing a new vehicle, you NEED to do so before the start of the new year UNLESS you want to be stuck paying 25% more for the same car everyone else purchased for less just a few months prior.
