For those who missed our earlier coverage, PakWheels previously reached out directly to Sazgar Engineering (Haval Pakistan) the moment the first spy shots leaked.

At the time, Haval dropped a major clarification: This specific vehicle on the roads might actually be a non-custom or private import brought in early by an individual enthusiast, rather than an official company test mule.

However, they gave us the ultimate reassurance: Sazgar officially confirmed to PakWheels that they are indeed launching the Haval H6 GT in Pakistan very soon!

Hybrid and electric vehicles may become more expensive in Pakistan under the upcoming federal budget for fiscal year 2026–27, as the government faces pressure to reduce tax exemptions and move toward a more uniform sales tax regime.
According to media reports, the International Monetary Fund has opposed continuing special tax concessions for electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as other exempted sectors, as part of Pakistan’s ongoing budget discussions. The final decision has not yet been announced, but if these proposals make it into the Finance Bill, the price impact on electrified vehicles could be significant.

Toyota has officially launched the all-new 9th-generation Hilux in its home market of Japan, following an initial release in other key markets, according to the Toyota Global press release.

Global Rollout Sequence
The launch comes six months after Toyota first unveiled the ninth-generation Hilux at an event in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 10, 2025.

In Thailand, the new model was introduced as the Hilux Travo and was available for same-day delivery.

Australia followed in December 2025, while Japan is now the third market in this rollout.

Trims and Official Pricing
According to the company’s press release, Toyota is offering the new Hilux exclusively as a dual-cab 4WD model, divided into two trims:

Z Variant: ¥4,980,800 (approx. Rs 87 lacs)
Z Adventure: ¥5,500,000 (approx. Rs 96 lacs)
The base Z trim includes dual 12.3-inch displays and the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite.

The Z Adventure adds a sporty appearance. It gets additional exterior touches such as a lower front bumper garnish, a front skid plate treatment, a sports bar, black alloy wheels, and a different interior finish.
