It's hard to believe but we are turning 5 this year. My name is Nick. I founded Queen City Scooters in 2019 as an online and pop-up scooter retailer. Within a year and half I was approached by Segway to be their first retailer in NC promoting the opening of our first Brick n' Mortar in Center City on 4th St. Since then we have evolved and grown into the Premier service and repair center in the S.E. corridor and one of only a few that is certified by the biggest names in the industry. Now we are setting our sites on manufacturing. We only employ engineering interns from UNCC. On Friday July 10th The Local on 5th street will be hosting an anniversary social with food and drink specials from 3pm-6pm. Then on Saturday we will be hosting a celebration at our shop at 810 E. 7th St. Inside the Alister Uptown Apartments from 12-4. There will be a dj food trucks specials giveaways and giveaways. And more!
It's hard to believe all of this is bc of a broken neck years ago and my father buying me my first scooter.... what a ride!! We hope to see you there!!!!!!
