Victoria has celebrated her first anniversary with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet with a cake and well-wishes from colleagues throughout the company. She especially thanked members of the outstanding service department along with everyone behind the scenes who keep her customers happy. Her favorite sales are cars bought as surprise gifts and the thrill of unveiling it to the recipient, for whom she always ties a giant gift bow on top. Another first-year highlight was selling the first Chevy Volt electric car in dealership history.

Three of my associates--Joan, Chad, and Allen--went to Charlotte Friday to see and test drive the new 2013 Malibu that is now shipping to dealers. Not only is it beautiful, but there's lots of room, and it's remarkably quiet on the road. Very impressive.

The 2012 Volt is unique among electric vehicles because you have two sources of energy. You have an electric source–a battery–that allows you to drive gas–free for an EPA–estimated 35 miles. And there's also an onboard gas generator that produces electricity so you can go up to a total of 375 additional miles on a full tank of gas.
