🚧 How it started versus where we are 🚧

I’d like to take a minute to show you some of the things we are capable of here at Access Lift. We bought this Genie S-65 Trax from auction and as with some machines you buy at auction, you’re gonna put some work into it to get it ready for action out in the field. We knew we were gonna add this to our re-rental fleet so we knew things needed to be just right in order to meet the demands of being out on rent. So we did a trax drive repair, installed new wear pads and shims, replaced a hose, threw on a new basket and refurbished the control box at the basket. And let’s not forget that we did a fresh new paint job with new decals.

This is just another day for our shop. Our 3 mechanics have ~50 years of service behind them. I’ve been here 6 years and it’s rare to see these guys throw in the towel on a repair. There’s almost nothing these guys can’t do. They’ve gotten everything thrown at them over the years and I’ve watched them plow thru it all.

But let’s not forget our Paint n Prep guys as well. Our sander, you wish you had this guy. There’s nothing he can’t sand and he does it quickly and efficiently. Every job he does is ready for paint when he’s done. If the paint doesn’t stick, it’s not because of him, that’s for sure 👍. Our painter is fairly new to us, but he’s currently holding his own. He’s definitely feeling his way back after being away from the industry for awhile. We look forward to many more stellar paint jobs from him.

So this machine is off to our re-rental fleet. It’s leaving soon and some job site will be lucky to have it. We’ll see it when it comes back, service it, and keep the cycle going for as long as it can handle it.
