Next up we have a mk7r. I got this for pretty good deal. This is going to be Ray’s new car. A pretty awesome upgrade from the mk5 r32. While a golf R will never be an r32, the mk7 is such a great car.

And since I know at least 200% of you are gonna say “lower it”, don’t worry. H&R Special Springs, North America to the rescue. Not sure if wr do coilovers or just springs. At 100k probably coilover. The shock abs are about due to

Today we completely rebuild vw and Audis most common engine, the ea888. While there are a lot of variations to it, the build is almost the same on all of them. And we have Florian from to break some myths on engine assembly.

I learned that sometimes I’m doing too much 🤣🤣🤣

Is a digital torque wrench worth it for you? To me Snap-on Tools makes the best digital torque wrenches. I think the grey one in the video was the first gen tech angle wrench. I love that damn thing so much, I it doesn’t even work anymore and I can’t part with it. Hahah

Being 40lb lighter is pretty awesome. I’m more excited that I won’t have to power the car, to open the hood, to jump the car when it sits for more than a couple days.

Thanks to Antigravity Batteries for helping me out on this one. Hopefully we can find a cool solution for the rs3 swap battery in the trunk.

After months of not driving the 996 gets a new AOS. Not a major failure but enough to not drive it.

I also got my stubborn hat on and try to do the repair NOT by the book 🤣

It’s been a wildly chaotic time around here. Vr6 is coming together nicely for the “A59”. Got most of the H&R Special Springs, North America coilovers on.
Here are a few mods this car will get.

If you’re looking at this and going “hey that won’t work together” hahah I’m not sure I want to know right this minute 🤣🤣

This mk3 bay still needs to be cleaned.
