Любая 4 Series — красивая машина, но здесь особенно удачное сочетание: необычный Melbourne Red, шикарная толстая кожа Дакота цвета Cognac, настоящее дерево в салоне. Всё вместе выглядит дорого, тепло и очень по-бээмвэшному. И это не современный "экраноплан".

Мотор 2 литра турбо оказался даже избыточным для меня - я склонен гонять.

Машина комфортная, собранная, а в режиме Sport становится очень резкой и отзывчивой. Едет приятно, мне реально понравилось.
И всё это примерно за $23,000 при пробеге 62 тысячи миль. Кто владел таким? Во что обходится?

Купил бы себе? Да! Но мне нужно 5 мест. Поэтому я, скорее всего, смотрел бы в сторону BMW 5 Series или X5.

Но эта BMW 430i запомнится мне навсегда как мой первый - не сбывшийся - кабриолет.

This 2019 BMW 430i Convertible could be mine. But it's not.
The 4 Series is a beautiful car, but this one especially works. Melbourne Red, rich Cognac leather, real wood trim — the whole combination feels expensive, warm, and very BMW.
And it’s not just about looks. The car is comfortable, solid, and when you switch it into Sport mode, it becomes very sharp and responsive. I really enjoyed driving it.

For around $23,000, this is a lot of car and a lot of convertible. Do I like it? Hell, yeah!
Would I buy one? No — I need 5 seats. So for myself, I’d probably be looking more toward a BMW 5 Series or an X5.

Still, this 430i made a very strong impression on me.

Right after the purchase, she packed up the family and headed straight for an Alaska cruise!
