Pretty sure cars aren't supposed to sound like old film reels. No worries, Mako was on the job and got it fixed.

Did you know we do more than repairs? One of the best ways to not be surprised by unexpected car trouble is to stay on top of routine maintenance.

One of the long term goals for Mako has been to open a shop that brings community together by educating, giving back, and taking care of all of our people while providing top tier automotive work.

With some life changes, we are having to limit the number of mobile work we are doing currently and transition to more in shop appointments.

We will still be doing mobile diagnostics! If your vehicle can safely make it to our shop, we will pick it up from you and deliver it when the work is done.

Our goal, at Mako is to make automotive care less scary and as convenient as possible.

Ok, maybe not actually a wrecking ball… more like a very polite and organized friend.

FYI Friday, let’s make it a thing?

What is the difference between an emergency mechanic and a mobile mechanic?

Mobile mechanics and emergency mechanics both provide on-site vehicle services, but they operate differently.

A mobile mechanic works by appointment and focuses on scheduled diagnostics, maintenance, and non-urgent repairs at a convenient location, such as a home or workplace. This allows time to properly diagnose issues and complete quality work without the pressure of immediate response. In our case, we’ve also got a shop to work out of while still offering all diagnostics as a mobile service.

An emergency mechanic, on the other hand, is typically on call for urgent situations such as breakdowns or roadside issues that require immediate attention, even outside of normal business hours.

Understanding the difference helps set clear expectations: mobile mechanics provide planned, convenient service, while emergency mechanics handle urgent, time-sensitive problems.

Jenn handles most of our initial communication and all our scheduling. She can be reached by call or text at 667-401-1061. You can also reach out here on socials.
