Happy Father’s Day to the guys who make Evans Racing possible.

Only one of them is actually our dad, but the truth is, we are lucky enough to have a whole team of amazing men who show up for us, believe in us, teach us, encourage us, and spend countless hours helping us chase this crazy racing dream.

We are so grateful for the guys that make this all possible. The late nights in the shop. The hours spent dialing in the cars. The endless loading, unloading, fixing, cleaning, towing, and wrenching. The time. There’s no more precious gift they could ever give us. And that’s something we don’t take for granted.

The sacrifices by families at home so these guys can spend another night helping us get ready for the next race.

Today is for them.

❤️ Rj Hitch … You have your own kids, stepkids, and grandkids, but somehow you’ve still found time to treat us like we’re your own. You’re the strong and steady of this team. The guy we can always count on for motivation, a smile, a laugh and even the hard truth. You’ve never missed a beat this season. Between the motivational playlists, the laughs, the advice, and the countless hours helping us, you’ve made us better racers and better people. We are so thankful for you.

❤️ Allan Austin … Somewhere along the way, you stopped being a friend of the team and became family. You’ve become like an uncle to us and a mentor we respect so much. The amount of time you have given us scaling cars, dialing them in, and looking over every little detail is incredible. Your attention to detail is unmatched and your knowledge of the car and the sport is so impressive… but it’s the talks, encouragement, and belief in us that mean even more. You keep us driven to win, and your family has become part of ours too. We look up to you and appreciate you more than you will ever know.

❤️ Uncle John Sears … You loved us from the very beginning. Long before race day, before victories, before any of this. When you married our aunt, you became family, but you’ve always treated us like your own. The countless hours you spend in the shop helping prepare our cars never go unnoticed. The time you’ve spent on this team through the years shows not only your love for the sport, but your love for us. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t tell you how much we appreciate all of the sacrifices you make for this team and for us. We love you and are grateful for you, today and always.

❤️ Uncle Dylan Tull … Technically you’re Mom’s cousin, but around here family titles get a little confusing. 😂 What matters is you’ve always been there. You work long hours on the farm, are an amazing dad to Sadie, and still try to squeeze in time to travel with us and support us whenever you can.

❤️ Pop-Pop Terry … From the grandstands to the pit area, you’ve been one of our supporters from the start. Thank you for sponsoring us and showing up whenever you can. We know life gets busy, but it always means so much when you come to a

❤️ Dad … Where do we even start? You’re our biggest cheerleader, biggest supporter, the first one to say “Let’s go racing.” You’re guy who drops everything when a car gets torn up and tries to turn it around before the feature. The guy who somehow finds a way when there doesn’t seem to be one. When things go wrong, you teach us to keep going. When things go right, you remind us to stay humble. You show us what hard work, sacrifice, faith, and family look like not just on race day but every single day. You are our hero. And maybe… just maybe… we got our love of speed from you. We love you so much and are so grateful for a dad that’s our best friend too. ❤️

Racing is full of father figures who spend their weekends in hot race shops, tow rigs across state lines, miss sleep, spend countless hours turning wrenches, and pour their hearts into helping kids chase dreams.

🔥 Evans Racing Delivers Another Strong Finish — Merch Has Arrived! 🔥

Another strong night for Evans Racing at Spirit Auto Center Speedway at Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, New Jersey.

The 10K of Kenna Evans kicked off the night with a heat race win, but a tough redraw left her starting 7th in the feature. As she has done so many times this season, Kenna put her head down and went to work, charging through the field and bringing home an impressive P2 finish.

But it may have been the 14K of Kylin Evans who put on the drive of the night.

Starting 9th in a field of 14 cars, Kylin was wrecked twice and sent all the way to the back of the pack. She dug deep, stayed focused, and drove her heart out all the way back to a podium finish, crossing the line in P3.

What makes us most proud is the grit, resilience, sportsmanship, and determination these girls continue to show week after week.

None of this happens without the incredible people standing behind them. Thank you to Allan Austin, Rj Hitch, John Sears, and everyone who spends countless hours in the shop making sure these race cars are ready to compete every weekend. Thank you to Sara Baker Hitch for traveling with us, cheering these girls on, and loving our family so big. We may not all share the same last name, but at the end of the day, this team is family.

🏁 Well… the team is officially headed home.

After a long night spent searching for a hotel room anywhere in the Albany area to hopefully get Kylin’s car fixed before today’s race, Kevin and Ky finally found the only vacancy available just after midnight. Let’s just say it wasn’t exactly the Hilton. 😅

When I say we searched, I mean we SEARCHED. Even from home I was calling hotels trying to find them somewhere to stay and was told there were “no vacancies in the entire capital district.” Between the late night, the unexpected car damage, and now tonight’s races being canceled, I’m sure they’re not exactly happy campers this morning.

But that’s racing. 🙃

Sometimes the memories come from the challenges, the long drives, the late nights, the setbacks … and the people who help you along the way. You’ve got a lot to be proud of this weekend and Kylin gained some much needed points in New York.

We are incredibly thankful for the friends who stepped up and helped our team this weekend, offered support, lent a hand, checked in, and made a difficult weekend a little easier. Those friendships are what make this racing family so special.

Now it’s time to point the race trailer south, head back to Delaware, and get ready for the next one.

TOUGHER THAN THE DAMAGE. 💪🏁

What a weekend for the 14K.

Kylin Evans battled her way to a hard-earned 2nd place finish last night at Utica-Rome Kartway during the Northeast Junior Slingshot Super Series weekend in New York, but the final result doesn’t begin to tell the story.

While running near the front, Kylin found herself on the receiving end of aggressive driving when another driver (who was eventually black flagged) wrecked both Kylin and friend, Aubrey—making intentional contact with the both cars and leaving significant damage.

The impact was hard enough that Kylin said her wrist was sore afterward, and the race car certainly showed the evidence.

Despite the setback, both the 10s and 14K cars refused to let adversity define their night. Like the talented driver Aubrey Romig (Romig Motorsports) has proven herself to be, she battled through to take the checkered flag. Kylin Evans drove an incredible race of her own, bringing the battered 14K home in a strong second-place finish right behind Aubrey. Congratulations to both girls on outstanding performances despite the damage they sustained. Their grit, determination, and resilience were on full display.

Today, Kylin and Kevin are hoping to get the damage repaired and get the 14K back on track as the Northeast Super Nationals weekend concludes at Brookfield Speedway in Brookfield, New York.

No matter what happens today, we’re incredibly proud of the perseverance and commitment they’ve shown all weekend long.

This has been a father-daughter team building weekend, that’s for sure.
