Hi everyone! We hope you will join us in giving a big welcome to Jim and Michelle, the new owners of the Rideout's Automotive property at 149 Bennett Road. Jim and Michelle have owned and operated Precision Auto out of Brewer, Maine for many years. Dwayne begins the arduous process (our beloved Dwayne just does not know how to sit still) of finally enjoying his long awaited retirement from the automotive repair industry. From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank all of our incredibly loyal and wonderful customers who offered us their patronage for the last 20 plus years. It was an honor to serve you. Here is to the next chapter!

Spark plugs are an important component and servicing them at their proper maintenance intervals is key to keeping your vehicle running smoothly! Come see us! Our customer purchased this beautiful 1985 Jeep CJ7 at a Mecum Auction. We're getting her all ship shape for summertime cruising here in Maine. What's first? A new main wiring harness! The original harness had been spliced into so many times and in numerous locations, causing a lot of electrical issues! This new one should get her feeling better pretty quickly!

Hi folks! We hope you've all been enjoying this warmer weather that's finally come our way. It's definitely going to be a matter of importance to make sure that your blower motor is working properly so that you can enjoy all of that air conditioning! If you notice any odd noises when you turn your heat or a/c on, or your air is cutting in and out, give us a call and we'll take a look at what's going on! In the photo below, the customer complaint was a very loud vibrating sound when he turned his blower on...Turns out he had some mice trying to make a home in his blower motor! She's all cleaned out and moving air freely with no noise now!

Hi everyone! It's that time of year again for our annual free oil change event for Veterans! This year our event will be held on Saturday November 14th. Please feel free to share this post. We would love to have all 50 appointment slots booked this year! To reserve a spot for Saturday November 14th call Anna at 989-2344. She will need to know the year, make, model, and engine size of your vehicle so have your VIN number ready when you call! Thank you so much. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Notice to our valued customers: Rideout's Automotive will be closed for the week of August 3rd-7th. We will reopen for business on the following Monday, August 10th.
