Happy Saturday everyone! We have been terrible about getting pictures from work that we have been doing, we apologize about that! Last couple cars we’ve had in the shop have both been for new customers!

🚨🚨ANNOUNCEMENT🚨🚨

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! We are very pleased to announce that we finally have our A/C Machine and we are also 609 Certified to complete A/C repairs on your vehicle! So if your vehicle uses R134A and isn’t blowing cold air, give us a call and let’s your car back to blowing cold again!

We had a 2018 Hyundai Sonata come to us claiming another shop told them they needed rear brake pads and rotors due to pad material almost gone and rotors too thin to be salvageable. Upon inspection, it was found that the brake pads were almost brand new and the rotors read a thickness of .389”(with a discard spec at .330.) With the brand new rotor width at .393”, the customer was advice that no brake replacement was necessary at this time.

We want to use this post as a reminder that here at Henderson Farms & Repair, we strive on only replacing parts that are due for replacement. We had a 1997 Ford Econoline E150 come in for the brake light on the dash coming on and soft brakes. After new drums, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, and brake lines in the rear the light came off!

Vehicle was also inspected and found the engine very low on oil and the front wheel bearings had excessive play. With a fresh oil change, rotor/hub assemblies, bearings, and fresh brake pads, this unit is ready to get back to work!

Hello everyone! We haven’t done the best updating the page but we have been busy in the shop! Some of the jobs we got pictures of are below

2007 Buick Lacrosse 3.8- coolant leak coming from the front cover gasket and water pump. And also replaced a year old power steering pump that had a faulty pump shaft bearing.

2007 Chevy Silverado 1500- had a blown out RR wheel cylinder. Replaced rear brake shoes w/hardware and drums along with both wheel cylinders. Both front brake calipers, and upper control arms due to a bad ball joint.

Had a mobile call for a cub cadet zero turn lawn mower due to a no start. Ended up needing a battery, starter solenoid, and a fuel filter!

Had a return customer bring us there beautiful 04 Chevy 3500 LB7 with a noise coming from the drivetrain. Found a U joint that had dried out causing the noise. Customer decided to replace all 3 U joints!

We had a new customer come to us with a 2007 Chevy Impala that had a transmission issue once it got warm. The transmission fluid was checked and was at the correct level but the fluid looked like engine oil. Once we dropped the pan, it was found that there was a layer of metallic mud in the bottom of the pan with LOTS of sparkles in the pan and within the transmission. The customer decided the car wasn’t worth putting a transmission into it.

This serves as a great notice that your engine oil isn’t the only oil that should be maintained within your vehicle! Tim Spencer brought us his prized 2004 Lincoln town car that had the notorious intake coolant crossover leak. While doing the repair, it was found that over 1/2 of the spark plug tubes were almost full of oil, the serpentine belt had many cracks, PCV valve was pushing oil into the intake, and the customer decided while it was tore apart to also replace valve cover gaskets! Once the vehicle was back together the alternator decided to exit the room so that was also replaced.
