🤓A before-and-after on a vehicle a few days ago... That day it was a little bit rainy so I had the customer keep their vehicle in their garage. Pro tip: a windshield cannot be repaired if it's wet. Do not use windshield wiper fluid for at least an hour before a repair. 🌞

👍🌞👋Before and after on a large crescent chip! Chips can only be repaired in weather above 35° and no precipitation... make sure your windshield is completely dry. If you have a heated garage that's a plus! Temperature changes cause chips to crack so try not to park in the sun with snow on your windshield if you have a chip. "The sooner the better" is the rule with chip repair. This repair went so well because the chip was only a few days old. The longer you wait, the more dirt and water get inside the glass and make it harder to fix.

So Steve Galaty asked for a crack repair asap and after I asked for his address 3 times he said he would give it to me as I'm driving over to wondervu. He would only give me the name of the road and not the number. I said I have spotty reception driving to wondervu I said if you want to be weird about it you could meet me at taggerts. I already offered for him to meet me at my house. Then I told him he can find someone else to fix his windshield. He said wow not being weird. I said yeah after 50 text messages and asking three times for your address you can waste someone else's time. You want a service person to be perform a service at your house, you have to give out your address. He said I'm just super vigilant about service people I give my address to. I said I'm not interested in you, your property, your things, or helping you fix your windshield. If you expect someone to come to your house to perform a service and you don't want to give them your address until they're in route, there's something seriously wrong with you. You probably shouldn't live in the mountains. Like what does this guy think? That I'm going to come to rob him while he's at work. I've never met anyone who literally distrusted me with their address while wanting me to come to their house to perform a service. That is just disrespectful.

People ask me at least twice a month where they can get a specific piece of glass replaced. I have been doing chip repair for over 14 years and have never offered replacements. That means that I have been asked about 350 times about a service that I do not provide. Just a PSA, I am getting tired of answering these questions. I do not know of any reliable, full-time, windshield replacement companies in the area. I only do chip and small crack repair. Thank you.
