Today isn’t about lap times, trophies, or checkered flags.

It’s about the men and women who never got the chance to come home. The heroes who gave everything so the rest of us can enjoy nights at the racetrack with our families, freedom to chase our dreams, and the ability to live this life on our own terms.

At the racetrack, we stand for the anthem, wave the flags, and enjoy the roar of the engines — but none of it exists without the sacrifices made by America’s fallen service members. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It’s a reminder that freedom came at the highest price for so many families.

From all of us at Kuhn Racing Enterprises, we remember and honor those heroes today. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

If you’re at the track this weekend, take a moment before the helmets go on and the engines fire to remember why we have the freedom to be there in the first place. 🇺🇸🏁

Tonight we wrap up our three-night race weekend at BAPS Motor Speedway with Mickley Motorsports supporting their team. Hoping Friday night’s success for the 18m rolls right into tonight.

Carter, Kodiak, Kessel, and Collin are really starting to come together as a team, and you can see Brayden’s confidence in them growing every time the car hits the track. Huge thanks to Bill Mickley for making sure the team has everything they need to succeed. Bill is also a huge part of Kuhn Racing Enterprises. Without his support, we wouldn’t have what we need to race the 600.
Come on out to BAPS tonight and catch some great 358/410 sprint car racing. Racing starts at 7 PM.

Pro tip: wearing white to BAPS is usually a bad idea. 😅

Hope to see a great crowd tonight!

Second night out for the KRE 55 and Cayden brought it home P11. He did a great job working through traffic, passing some cars, and avoiding a few messes along the way. The car really started coming alive late in the race and he felt like there was a little more there, but the biggest thing is the car rolled into the trailer in one piece and we learned a few things to work on before the next outing.

Can’t say enough about the effort the Forsythe family puts into this deal. Glenndon made the trip to path after spending the day at his daughter’s basketball tournament in Atlantic City, and right about now he’s probably only a half hour from being back there again to catch Cam’s game in the morning. That’s dedication. Also want to thank Greg Forsythe for all of his help. He took the car to 600cc performance when it needed to get tuned and went back up to bring it home. Tonight he drove the truck and trailer to path so we could race. Without him tonight wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you Greg!!

Our schedule is clear until the end of June, but we’re already looking forward to getting the KRE 55 back on track.

Time to dust off the 600 and make our way to Path Valley Speedway Park tomorrow evening.

This deal is all about having fun, and with everyone’s real-life schedules, we just haven’t had many opportunities to get the 55 on the track lately. Cayden has still been staying sharp with commitments in a 270, just not behind the wheel of the 55.

Glenndon and Cayden spent some time this week making adjustments to the ride heights, and we’re hopeful for a solid night. Looking forward to getting some laps, learning a few things, and hopefully rolling it back into the trailer in one piece. 🏁

When we picked the numbers 55 and 21 for KRE, it wasn’t random.

Those numbers go way back in our family. My great-grandfather had sprint cars numbered 55 and 21, so carrying those numbers on our cars felt like a way to honor a little piece of family racing history.

Some people have asked if the 21 came from Montieth’s famous cars. Nope. That’s not where it came from for us.

And the 55 worked out even better because Cayden’s dad, Glenndon, has driven a 5 car for a lot of years. So in a way, the 55 felt like a fitting tribute to him too.

Of course, Cayden probably figures 55 just means he’s twice as good as his dad… we’ll let them sort that out at the track.

A lot of meaning packed into a couple numbers.

We finally got the new KRE car on track Saturday night at Path Valley.

With only 14 600’s in the pits, Cayden’s very first laps in this car came during hot laps. He used the heat race to keep learning and getting a feel for the new Probe chassis, and we decided to opt to the rear for the A-main to keep working on it.

Unfortunately, a brake issue ended our night just after halfway, and we were credited with a P12 finish. That said, all in all it was a good night. We got laps, learned more about the car, and most importantly rolled it back in the box in one piece… minus a little brake fluid.

For a brand new combination with Cayden’s first real laps in the seat, we’ll take that as a step in the right direction.

Big thanks to Glenndon and Lonnie for all their work helping get this car ready and for everything they put into this deal.

We’ll be idle for a couple weeks, but plan to be back at Path later this month and ready to keep building on what we learned.

After a lot of long nights in the shop, opening day is here.

Kuhn Racing Enterprises is headed to Path Valley Speedway Park to kick off the season with the 55. A lot of work has gone into getting this thing ready, and we’re ready to finally put it on the track.

Big thanks to 2B Creative for making this car look incredible and for doing the install on his off day. We appreciate the effort more than you know.

We’re also thankful for the support from Turner Chevrolet, Mickley’s Orchard & Farm Market along with Keystone Gun Sales

The car is ready. The work is done. Time to go racing.

🍎 Sponsor Spotlight – Mickley’s Orchard & Farm Market 🍎

Kuhn Racing Enterprises wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of some truly incredible people — and Mickley’s Orchard & Farm Market is right at the top of that list.

Bill, Brayden, Carter, and everyone at Mickley have played a huge role in our racing journey, especially as we’ve grown into both the 600 program and the 358 sprint car. From shop space, to engine help, to guidance that only comes from years of experience, their support has meant more than words can say — especially in a sport where nothing comes easy.

When it came time to make decisions about the direction of our program — including having Cayden run full-time and allowing Brayden and Carter to jump into the second car as the 358 schedule allows — Bill was someone I leaned on heavily for advice. His experience, honesty, and steady perspective helped shape those decisions, and I wouldn’t have made them without his input.

When it came time to purchase our car, that same guidance played a big role. Having people you trust in your corner makes all the difference, and we’re grateful for the confidence they’ve shown in what we’re building.

Mickley’s isn’t just a sponsor — they’ve been longtime supporters of the racing community as a whole, always willing to help teams, drivers, and families along the way. That kind of support doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s a big part of what keeps grassroots racing alive.

We’re proud to carry their name on our cars and even prouder to call them family. Thank you to Bill, Brayden, Carter, and everyone at Mickley’s Orchard & Farm Market for everything you do for us and for the racing community. 🍎🏁
