Cooper Shipman stopped by DDX HQ for some race week prep before heading to Toronto. A few more laps in the sim before he gets back in the real car this weekend for Formula Regional Americas.

We’re excited to watch him race. Tune in this weekend and cheer him on!

Every driver is different, and the motion can be too.

From how aggressive the platform feels to the strength of the braking, acceleration, and sustained-load cues, a DDX simulator can be tuned around the driver, car, and purpose of the session. The goal is not simply more movement. It is giving the driver the right feedback, in the right way.

If we want to build something that feels real, we have to keep going back to the real thing.

In this clip from our Finland rally video, Collin talks about why real-world driving is such a big part of our R&D. It’s not just about going racing. It’s about understanding the conditions, the feedback, and the feeling we’re trying to recreate inside the DDX experience.

Oneline Racing stopped by DDX HQ to get behind the wheel and test out the sims.

We’re always excited to support local racing, connect with the community, and give more drivers the chance to feel the DDX experience in person. Big thanks to the Oneline Racing team for coming by.

Alex Nankervis, Co-Founder and CEO of DDX, and Collin Robb, Co-Founder and Head of Motorsports, traveled to Finland to spend time with our partners at Simucube and get more real-world rally reference for the DDX experience.

Joined by Johannes Suomalainen from Simucube, the trip brought together partnership, rally, and the kind of real driving feedback that helps shape how we think about motion.

Big thank you to Johannes, the Simucube team, and Race Rebels Oy for making it happen.

A believable driving experience is built in layers.

Motion, visuals, controls, wind, and force feedback each give the driver a different piece of information. When every layer is timed, tuned, and working together, the driver gets a clearer sense of what the car is doing.

That is what makes the experience feel connected.

A DDX demo is built around feel: braking force, chassis movement, grip transition, steering response, and the moment the driver starts trusting the machine. Which part of the experience would matter most to you?

Three DDX Precisions in the works.

A little behind the scenes from the shop as the team gets these three built, dialed in, and ready to head out.

A lot goes into every Precision before it leaves our doors. Here’s a look at part of the process.

A closer look at what moves the DDX Prime.

The actuators are where the motion starts, translating vehicle data into the physical cues drivers feel through the seat: weight transfer, surface change, pitch, roll, and everything happening underneath the car.

Rallying in Finland with Alex Nankervis, our CEO, Collin Robb, our Head of Motorsports, and Johannes Suomalainen from Simucube.

A few moments from a trip built around partnership, real-world driving, and getting closer to the kind of feedback we work to recreate in the DDX experience.

Big thank you to Johannes and the Simucube team for having us in Finland. 🇫🇮
