Email: [email protected] Christians in the Media are hosting the first ever Augusta for Jesus March. WBPI TV 49, WAFJ, WUCC 99.9fm and Bryton Entertaiment are working together to make this happen. It's not about any single church or ministry, but all about Jesus a
nd declaring that Jesus is Lord over the CSRA. What is the theme of the march?
“Every Praise is to our GOD” by Hezekiah Walker. We will be “Praising GOD down Broad Street.” See the video on website (https://youtu.be/UuuZMg6NVeA?list=RDUuuZMg6NVeA). This event is about bringing the body of Christ together in unity praising Jesus and declaring that Jesus is Lord over the CSRA. We believe that it will tell our local officials that the church is in unity working together and willing to fight for what is right. Our hope is also that it will inspire other cities to do the same. Please keep the Augusta For Jesus March in prayer and get involved. Let us praise him together. Are there t-shirts for this event? Yes. The deadline has passed for ordering new t-shirts. Extra t-shirts were ordered and are available on a first-come, first-served basis so please call 803-278-3618 if you’re interested. The t-shirts are royal purple in color. What is the schedule for the march? First we have several Christian motorcycle groups who will start with over 100 bikes. After they pass by the music will start live from WAFJ leading with the song “Every Praise Is To Our God” by Hezekiah Walker. When the music starts we will have praisers leading the way. Following them will be Arthur Blessit and Russell Spaulding carrying the cross followed by others carrying crosses. Next will be the pastors followed by everyone else. The march will start off by Curtis Baptist Church and will end up at the Commons. There will be more music, ministry, prayer tent, and food vendors there. What is the route for the march?
