Pupdate: she has a heavy load of heart worms & filaria. Cost for fast kill (safer but costs more) is going to run near $1000. Both her knees but are blown. Xrays needed to know how to proceed. Bloodwork for senior panels (she’s 6-7) was $200 w a rabies vax and pain meds. She still needs spaying but I think I have that covered. I use Lake Dow Animal Hospital and her name is Lady. 770-957-4040 or I have paypal, cashapp and apple pay. Every dollar helps.

I’m looking for donations to offset some of the upcoming vet bills for the sweet, emaciated girl, with lots of old injuries and deformities, possibly from past trauma or being hit by a car. She has no microchip but we learned she was a street dog for many years down at the Valero near Shawn O Briens on 36 in Jackson and people just left her out, never trying to catch her or she was uncatchable.

I first saw her before Thanksgiving, full of milk, put no puppies. She will need vaccinations, X-rays, bloodwork, spaying if she can survive anesthesia, meds, antiparasitics, special food, etc. as she is likely a hospice case. I will know more Monday after the vet appointment on Monday. (Surprisingly, all her bloodwork came back great, except for her heart worm load!)

First off, I wanted to thank each of you for being who you are- some of the best friends and customers any business owner could have. I truly appreciate and value each and every one of you.

Also, my mother passed away recently and her service will be this Saturday the 28th. Please be patient while our family sorts through the grief and if I miss you somehow, please let me know immediately, as it’s not intentional. I have taken this week off to get through the holiday and her passing but will be back at work on Monday.

Praying each of you had a truly magical Christmas and kept Jesus at the center of it all. I, for one, know I’m extremely grateful for His mercy and blessings! Here’s to a better New Year for us and our country! God bless!

Max, this sweet, very active boy is neutered, has been vaccinated and dewormed and is ready for his forever home. Strictly an inside cat. He is use to other cats and dogs and likes to be cuddled like a baby on his back when play time is winding down.

He’s going to be a big boy- at 13 weeks he’s already about 7 lbs. He would need another active cat to play with or someone who will spend time playing with him. Reach out if interested. $30 rehoming fee to help offset vetting and ensure a good home.

With hunting season fast approaching along with the mountain camping trips I know everyone will want to be taking, call and schedule maintenance now.

Check your furnaces to ensure they are working properly and all other appliances. Winterize if needed. It’s also a great time to perform any rooof work needed before it gets too cold in the coming months.

I’m grateful to say my days are filling up quickly. Please note our office hours are Monday through Friday 9-5. If you must leave a message or text please identify who you are and leave a detailed description of what you’re needing. I don’t respond to texts or calls on the weekends when it’s family time but I will call you back in the order I received as soon as I can. If I miss you before starting my first job I’ll call in the afternoons, always within 24 hrs.

🚨 RUNAWAY JUVENILE 🚨

Trinity Waters left her residence on Sept. 17, 2024, at about 1:00 p.m., while her guardian was at work. She had been communicating by text message with her guardian until September 18th at 7:51 p.m., but there has been no contact since that time. The report was filed at the Newton County Sheriff’s Office on September 19th at 11:30 a.m.

‼️URGENT PLEA-FOSTER NEEDED‼️

🚨We are in URGENT NEED of a foster for bonded senior pair, Bandit & Sheba. They were found together, sadly surrendered by their owners. Sheba, the German shepherd has been found to be heart worm positive and is beginning treatment. These dogs only have each other now that they’ve been abandoned by their previous owners. We want to give them a safe and comfortable place for their golden years. Temporary foster is needed until our senior sanctuary officially opens next month where Sheba and Bandit will be residing until they find a forever home
