Over the years I had several KTMs and I loved them all. They are lightweight, have great suspension, clever engineering, and motors tuned to the limit. They need care and can be finicky, but they are amazing when they work. This 350sxf was sitting for some time with gas in the tank. The bad gas led to clogged fuel filters and a damaged fuel pump. It also had a flat front tire. After rebuilding the fuel pump, installing new fuel filters, and flushing the fuel lines and the injector, it ran like new again. Last was the front tube fix followed by the test drive around the neighborhood. These bikes are so much fun!

Another finished Harley. This 2001 Softail standard has about 40k miles but it's in great shape. The customer wanted to change the primary covers and take care of oil leak coming from that area. At least that's what we thought originally. After changing the covers, we realized that there was another leak at the main seal behind the sprocket... So everything needed to come off again... After changing the main seal and a long test drive, we parked the bike with paper towels underneath for a few days and no more leaks! It was fun work. I am really starting to like those Harleys.

TORCS round 4 at SPOAK Motopark was such a cool race! The trails were fast-flowing and the sandy MX track part was so much fun. I paid for the fun with a dislocated middle finger... but still managed to finish 7th in my class.

I also ride and race! I am not sure if it was the smartest idea but at 47 I decided to start racing dirtbikes. After 20 years of riding road and adventure bikes, I bought used yz125. I always loved the sound and smell of two strokes. What I also love is how simple and light that bike is. I have to admit it's a steep learning curve but very very rewarding. When I got the bike it would not run very well and the carburetor was leaking gas left and right. It took some work and money: carburetor rebuild, top-end rebuild, servicing the forks, replacing the bearings in wheels, linkage and steering, new clutch plates and basket, tires, and plastic...she is ready for the race. To be honest, I am usually safely last or close to last in my category (TORCS 250C...I should have signed up for the D category) but I am having a blast! Maybe midlife crisis?

This more than 20-year-old Road King is still a sweet ride! All it needed was a new battery, a clean air filter, an oil change, sparkplugs, and a carburetor rebuild. After that, it's ready for another 40k miles.

'MURICA baby! This custom-built and painted project bike was never really finished. The seat and tank were not properly attached but the bike was driven for 10 miles before putting in the storage with gas in the tank... 10 years later the chrome and the paint aren't pretty but the S&S motor is great. We just fabricated proper tabs for the tank and seat, rebuilt the carburetor and after the usual TLC, it was ready to ride to the sunset.

Rokon. This bike had also been sitting for years with rust eating its way through the tank. Besides that, the clutch would not engage and the transmission wasn't working. To fit the new tank, we welded new taps on the top frame tube. The main drive shaft needed a new woodruff key, the centrifugal clutch was replaced, and the carburetor was rebuilt. The old Albion transmission just needed cleaning, fluid, and some tinkering. Lastly, just the usual stuff like an air filter, oil, sparkplug, and fresh gas. That thing might be slow but it will drive over and through anything.

BMW R1100R. These beemers are fun to ride and can be quite fast once you get used to the front telelever suspension feel. I used to have the RT version of this bike but the naked R feels way more agile and revs faster. This bike was sitting for 10 years and when we opened the tank you could tell...take a look at the pictures. The most tedious job was to remove the rust from the tank. After that, it needed a new fuel pump, pressure regulator, and fuel filter. We also cleaned the fuel lines and injectors. Next, a fresh battery, air filter, and both oils and the bike was ready to get back on the road.

Whizzers are fun bikes...if you take good care of them...This one was ridden a lot for a while, but sadly, it was sitting for too long with bad gas. Since parts are not easy to come by, it took a while to get this red racer back on the road. But it was great fun to ride once we got it going. It will reach 35-40 mph!

We also do dirt bike suspension maintenance and repairs. This KX250f came with broken fork internals. Luckily we were able to get all the parts needed from eBay and save the customer tons of money.

This 2010 KLR was a fun project. The cylinder and cylinder head bolts were stripped and "fixed" with some red silicon putty. The bike would not run and was in a rough shape. The motor needed a complete rebuild with new cases. It took a while but we got it back on the road running like a champ!
