Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Non-Commercial Driver's License Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will operate a Dodge Ram 2500 with 40ft flatbed trailer to transport goods, and equipment efficiently and securely. Your expertise in driving different types of commercial vehicles and excellent communication skills, will ensure smooth operations across multiple departments. Duties
Safely operate a Dodge Ram 2500 with 40ft to transport freight and equipment regionally.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
ELD Experience. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and clients to coordinate routes and delivery schedules.
Assist with moving heavy equipment or freight within warehouses or job sites as needed.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
Requirements
DOT Active Licenses
1+ Years in Hot Shot Trucking
ELD Knowledge & Experience
Good & Valid Non-Commercial Driver’s License (Non-CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record.
Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks, tractor-trailers, school buses, or heavy equipment like dump trucks and tow trucks.
Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance.
Experience with route driving, shuttle driving, freight delivery, or yard jockey duties is highly desirable.
Ability to load & unload cargo efficiently using forklifts or pallet jacks; forklift certification is a plus.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
Physical ability to move heavy freight or equipment safely; warehouse experience is advantageous.
