Just sitting back reflecting on the game and my journey.
High school was full of ups, downs, and adversity. College wasn’t a straight line in the beginning, starting at JUCO, then West Georgia, and finishing at Reinhardt University.
What kept me going was my love for the game and a relentless work ethic. I stayed the course, trusted the process, and that’s where I found my greatest success, shaping me into the man I am today.
I miss the game every day, but I’m grateful for everything it gave me. Now as a football coach, I get to pass those lessons on to the next generation.
To every athlete still grinding, don’t let setbacks stop you. Stay consistent, commit yourself to the grind, and keep chasing what you love. Trust God’s plan 🙏🏾
