If you are contributing to the banquet please have you merchandise or certificates to me by the last round coming up in a couple of weeks in Athens TN. If you wish to contribute money we will purchase for you at our cost to maximize you dollars. If you wish to do it that way please contact me for payment info. See you all in Athens!

Hello SORCS racers!
We hope that everyone is excited about the race this weekend, the weather is shaping up to be perfect!
A few quick notes:
There will be no trackside tire changes this weekend but we will have Dunlop and Pirelli tires for sale so come by and see us if you need some fresh tread!

*CHANGE TO PEEWEE RACE FORMAT 4-6 ONLY*
After much discussion, SORCS has decided to split the start for the 4-6 peewee racers into two separate rows based on the increasing numbers for this race. There will be markings for the rows/classes on the starting line this weekend. The first row will consist of the 4-6 electric and the 50cc 4-6 classes. The second row will consist of the 50cc 4-6 shaft and the E-2 electric classes.
Our hope is that this will eliminate or significantly cut down the chance of crashes in the first turn. There will be a short time differential between these rows and will hope to release the 2nd row roughly 20-30 seconds after the first. Times will be adjusted for scoring purposes.

Sorry for the long read, but we hope to see you all this weekend for the ten second call 🏁🏁

SORCS Bulletin March 17 2026
Hello SORCS Racers,
As the acting series referee, I wanted to address a few things today. For those who don’t know me, I have been involved with the series for the past 17 years, handling vending and sponsorship. When I was asked to step in as series referee, I was unsure at first. However, after giving it some thought, I was all in—simply for the same reason I’ve done what I do for so long. It’s all about the series, the growth of the series, and especially our youth riders. Without these young riders, we will not have a sport in the future.
This past race weekend started out very well, and I truly appreciate the kids and adults who obeyed our no pit riding rule. However, there were some issues during the morning race. We handled as much of the problem as we could without issuing a disqualification for the entire race, which would have meant no points for anyone. We have also taken action regarding course cutting, and this will be more strictly enforced moving forward.
Our goal is to grow this series and make it safe and sportsmanlike for everyone who attends. This page is a great forum for Monday morning bench racing, but if you have a problem with someone riding the wrong class or cheating, there is a 30-minute protest period once all scores are posted. This is the time to bring forward video evidence or witness statements, as outlined in the rulebook. If warranted, I will take immediate action.
As I’ve stated, we are not trying to be harsh, but as this series grows, it will take all of us working together to make it great.
Thanks to everyone who came by and spoke with me this weekend—it’s nice to know we have your support! Please don’t hesitate to call or email me.

Hello SORCS riders and families,
We have officially updated the rulebook and have provided a link to it here.
Recently, we have had several serious issues involving pit riding by both kids and adults. We need everyone’s help in putting an end to this. In the past, situations like this have caused us to lose race venues, and continuing unsafe behavior could put future events at risk.
We are not trying to be harsh, but the safety of riders, families, and spectators must come first.
Please take time to review the key sections of the rulebook, especially the rules regarding pit riding, which also apply to warming up/riding bikes in the morning, as well as Saturday riding restrictions for both adults and kids. We also ask that everyone review the section covering golf carts, ATVs and side-by-sides, including the age restrictions.
Our goal is to keep the rules fair and reasonable. This rulebook is designed specifically for our series and is not nearly as strict as GNCC or some other race series in our region.
To make the rules easy to access, we will have a QR code available trackside at the gate, signup area, or vendor area. Printed copies will also be available.
If you have any questions, please see Clinton, who will be serving as the Series Referee.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep SORCS events safe, family-friendly, and sustainable for the future.
Thank you.

Greetings series sponsors and racers!
We hate to announce that this weekend there will be no new podium banner and single sponsor banners represented trackside. This came due to a mishap with shipping but rest assured, we will have the new visuals for the next race along with SORCS T-shirts.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Just wanted to say thanks to all series sponsors old and new. Thanks to them we will be able to make this season great! For the first time in SORCS history there will be a top three mini payout sponsored by Gutter guy of Ellijay. So just like the big guys our top minis will enjoy a cash payout as well. In addition you will be seeing new mile markers with sponsor logos, a brand new podium banner and trackside banners. Thank you again for being a SORCS series sponsor.

Hello Racers!
BumpGa will be at the last round this upcoming weekend. Unfortunately Jesse will be at the Cherokee Enduro as well as Luke, our hard-working tire changer. Clint will be there with all your race day needs. We will have plenty of tires on hand but will not be able to change them unless it’s an emergency, so keep this in mind and plan accordingly. If you are a series sponsor, please come by the BumpGa tent. We would like to finalize all the year-end contributions by mid-next week as the banquet is fast approaching.
See you all in Tennessee!

Hello racers!
Unfortunately, BUMP will not be at round 2 this upcoming weekend as we are in Wyoming for a yearly trip.
Our thoughts and well wishes go out to those that may not be able to make it to the race this weekend because of the impacts of hurricane Helene.
We will be back for round 3 and wish nothing but fun and safety for the racers this weekend! Ten seconds 🏁🏁
