Since we have conducted extensive market research and work exclusively with the best manufacturers of high-quality printed surfaces, these models are in no way inferior to the resin-cast models we are familiar with in terms of quality and detail. Over the past year, we have invested a great deal of effort into optimizing and improving the durability of our 3D-printed models. We are proud of this achievement. Producing surfaces of absolutely smooth quality requires very high-quality 3D printers capable of extremely thin layer thicknesses, along with correspondingly elaborate post-processing of the car bodies. We would like to refute the criticism from some customers that 3D-printed models should be much cheaper because the technology is typically inexpensive and suitable for the mass market. Our models are nothing like a simple print where each layer is clearly visible in cross-section. Very few manufacturers can deliver the required uniformity, stability, and surface quality to us on a production scale at our small scale. The support structure of each individual car body is a sight to behold in its own right. We wanted to take this opportunity to explain this once again. We are enthusiastic about this modern manufacturing technology and will continue to rely on it, true to the motto:
“If you don’t move with the times, you’ll be left behind.”
