I don't post up very often, but this is a little different. Today, I was changing out a Coleman-Mach 8. A bit heavier than most, but really no big deal, right? Somewhere near about 2 hours give or take by myself. NO! Some moron before me decided to completly silicone down the gasket. When I looked at the old A/C on the roof, the one side in the rear was dropped down. The back outside pad was gone. My guess is that the air conditioner was leaking, and the selling dealer decided that rather than replacing the pad, and re-securing the A/C, they would just silicone the unit back on. Or, it happened at the factory! Even scarier! Either way, it turned into a 4 hour ordeal after I already quoted everything prior. I'm thankful that I can help out my customers, but sometimes......
