When we launched Abilene Motors Magazine in 2020, our goal was simple: create a publication that celebrates the people, businesses, and automotive community that makes Abilene, Texas, special.

As we begin our sixth year, we're excited to share that we're taking the next step in our journey.

Over the coming months, you'll see our brand transition to Texas Motors Magazine. This change reflects our plans to expand into new markets across Texas while continuing to build on the foundation that started here in Abilene.

This name change isn't about leaving Abilene behindโ€”it's about taking what we've built here and sharing it with communities across Texas.

To everyone who has partnered with us, picked up a magazine, or supported our publication over the past six years, thank you. Your support has made this growth possible, and we're excited for what the future holds.

When Leslie Sepeda started Abilene Auto Spa in 2006, she started with less than $100, a vision, and a determination to build something of her own. Along the way, she faced challenges that would have caused many people to walk awayโ€”but Leslie refused to let adversity define her.

Today, Auto Spa has become one of the premier car care centers in the Big Country, built on quality service, loyal customers, a dedicated team, and a commitment to serving the community. Leslie's journey is a powerful reminder that perseverance, passion, and hard work can overcome even the toughest obstacles.

When James โ€œJTโ€ Thompson wanted to restore his 1976 Ford Highboy, it became more than just a projectโ€”thatโ€™s where Thomas Toy and the team at Seven Horses Restoration, right here in Abilene, stepped in. Working side by side, they helped transform this classic truck into a rolling legacy, honoring Jamesโ€™s brother and preserving memories along the way.
