Fumba Marine is pleased to announce its appointment as the official dealer for SilverCat in Tanzania, marking a significant step in expanding access to high-performance power catamarans across the East African marine market.

As Zanzibar continues to grow as a regional hub for marine tourism, leisure boating, and coastal transportation, the demand for practical and reliable vessels continues to rise. With their exceptional stability, fuel efficiency, and spacious layouts, SilverCat power catamarans are ideally suited to the region’s operating conditions, including shallow waters and island-to-island navigation.

Seif Alwardy, CEO of Fumba Marine, commented:
“We are proud to represent SilverCat in Tanzania. The brand offers a product that aligns perfectly with the needs of our market – practical, efficient, and built with purpose. We see strong opportunities across both the tourism and private sectors, and with the SilverCat 34CC arriving soon, we are excited to introduce a boat that combines performance, comfort, and reliability for our waters.”

Mohamed Ismail, Sales and Marketing Executive at SilverCat, added:
“Partnering with Fumba Marine represents an important milestone for SilverCat as we enter the African market for the first time. Zanzibar offers strong long-term potential for our products, and Fumba Marine’s local expertise and understanding of the marine sector make them the ideal partner to support our growth in the region.”

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting the development of Tanzania’s marine ecosystem through innovative and versatile boating solutions tailored to local requirements. Gulf Craft
