The Philippines Is Coming to the Paddock — And It’s Bringing the Ultimate Fan Experience!
Motorsport fans heading to the Isuzu Challenge Thailand at Chang International Circuit on 14–16 August are in for something very different.
As the championship returns to the circuit for its second-ever round, the Region 1 Philippines Pavilion – Fan Zone & Experience Center is set to bring an exciting new dimension to the PT Maxnitron Motorsport race weekend, combining the adrenaline of pickup truck racing with the vibrant culture, flavours and experiences of the Philippines.
Built around the theme “Race • Taste • Play • Discover the Philippines,” the pavilion is designed to be far more than a place to stop between races. Visitors can step inside and experience authentic Filipino cuisine, live cooking demonstrations, regional flavours, heritage games, destination showcases, travel experiences, prizes, giveaways and a dedicated hospitality lounge.

Visitors can take on the Race, Taste & Win Passport Challenge, spin the prize wheel, capture the moment at vibrant Philippines-themed photo installations and discover some of the spectacular destinations waiting to be explored across Region 1.
And when the racing action heats up, visitors can cool down in the dedicated Philippines Cool Zone, complete with air-conditioning, charging stations, refreshments and free Wi-Fi.
A Taste of the Philippines
Adding even more flavour to the experience will be three highly respected culinary ambassadors from Region 1:
Chef Xavier Mercado – The visionary behind the iconic Halo Halo de Iloko, Chef Xavier is one of the Philippines' influential tourism and culinary advocates. His award-winning entrepreneurship and passion for Filipino cuisine have helped showcase the country's food culture to audiences around the world.
Chef Ryan S. Cortez – A respected culinary professional and food innovator from Pangasinan, Chef Ryan combines traditional Filipino flavours with modern techniques, creating dishes that celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Region 1.
Chef Richard R. Gomez – An award-winning chef and champion of Ilocano gastronomy, Chef Richard has gained national and international recognition for his creative cuisine while promoting sustainable local ingredients and the rich food traditions of the region.
More Than a Race Weekend
With interactive activities throughout the weekend, hourly prizes, food experiences, games, destination showcases and plenty of surprises, the Region 1 Philippines Pavilion is set to become one of the must-visit destinations in the paddock.
