B20A6 Engine removal, teardown, rebuild, and re-install.

Inspected, sent off to Penrith Engine Services for machine work, head inspection and re-conditioning, and brought back with all new parts to assemble.

• Engine block honed and surfaces decked by Penrith Engine Services.
• New +.50mm pistons + measured & gapped piston rings.
• New main bearings.
• New connecting rod bearings.
• New thrust washers.
• Re-conditioned head + 2 bent valves discovered and replaced by Penrith Engine Services.
• All new gaskets, seals, o-rings, waterpump, thermostat, timing belt and coolant hoses.

Excavation job out at bathurst -

• Terrace garden make-over.

• Ag-pipe installed near existing fencing to alleviate future storm water issues, from vacant blocks behind house being built.

• Building retaining walls where the existing wall ends.

• Garden steps alongside retaining walls for access to terrace garden.

A cheeky visit from on Sunday.

This AE71 is a full-time party machine, the way it drives, sounds and looks, spells fun in every language. Sat on BC Racings KE/AE all round coilover setup and twin side draft carbs with trumpets on the amazing sounding 4A-GE.

My good mate has lended me his ACDC Welder, the amount of things you can do with this thing is insane 😂, I got a bit of practice in with a Turbo Toyota GT86, he installed a catch can and needed to weld in a b**g for the hose, went to and purchased a alloy weld on barb fitting and some hose to suit. After welding I had some wrinkle black paint on my shelf so I could bring it back to a neat finish. Came out good considering I can't weld very good, the other side is hammered though 😂.
Now I can fix the corona!

A little workshop update, sold my kinchrome boxes and moved my bigger toolboxes in, pulled the head off the corona and still in search for another head or engine, also featuring doggo ❤

Needed to reorganize the shop a little bit more to accommodate for the extra gear, busy weekend finishing up on the 80 Series' new engine, installing 4Runner 2.4TD engine, and rebuilding mc22 carbs and getting her running and ready for some summer rides.
