He’s back after a year and a half off the road!

After stored away for over a year without leaving the property, it’s time to get Herbie’s motor fixed and running. Summer weather is cruising weather and not sit in the shed forever.

New project for 2025. This one’s not mine but so glad to be part of it. This is Cheyenne who hasn’t seen the road for nearly 30 years after a brake failure caused her to kiss the car in front hard. Now she’s come out of the shed to have new life given to her. Please follow to see her new backside, nose and other sections being replaced and watch this beautiful 60 year old time capsule come back to the road looking her best!

If you’re heading to the Avalon Air Show this weekend, come over to the wing and wheels display. Herbie is on display until Sunday night with a few of his fellow movie cars.

Grab a free calendar at Supercheap auto and have Herbie on display in November on your wall.

Seeing double

On Sunday Herbie had the pleasure of honouring the birthday of Taj, a young man who is sadly no longer with us. Taj was a huge Herbie fan who wanted nothing more then to meet a Herbie in real life. His family wanted to do something special for his upcoming birthday so they decided to go for a drive in Herbie. We had a great time talking about Taj and driving to Portalington for some photos. Thank you to Kristy (Taj’s mum) for allowing us to be part of his birthday.
