A Night of National Pride: LISA in Thai Silk
Inspired by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother ✨

Amidst the majestic backdrop of Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn), LISA (Lalisa Manoban) captivated the world as the official ”Amazing Thailand Ambassador.“ She appeared in a breathtaking golden Thai silk gown, a masterpiece that transcends beauty, woven with rich history and cultural significance.

👑 The Royal Inspiration LISA’s gown for this momentous night was inspired by the personal wardrobe of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, whose style has long been the gold standard for blending Thai identity with international elegance.

🧵 From Heritage to Haute Couture This exquisite design traces its roots back to the ”Nuit à Londres“ evening gown by world-renowned designer Pierre Balmain from his 1960 collection. Her Majesty the Queen Mother originally commissioned this style, crafted from luxurious Thai silk and ”Yok Thong“ (Gold Brocade), creating a fashion legacy that continues to inspire the world today.

🌟 Feel All The Feelings in Thailand Beyond her mesmerizing attire, LISA is ready to lead travelers on a journey to experience a spectrum of emotions through Thailand’s diverse destinations. Under the concept ”Feel All The Feelings,“ 🌿 visitors are invited to discover moments of joy, serenity, excitement, and wonder that can only be found in the Land of Smiles.

Be Part of Our Pride Amazing Thailand invites all Thais to get ready to ”check-in“ and follow in LISA’s footsteps. Let us all be ”The Best Hosts“ under the Trusted Thailand project, welcoming travelers from across the globe with our signature warmth, standards, and sincerity. 🇹🇭❤️

Wat Chedi Luang: Essential Guide
The Icon: A massive 14th-century Lanna-style pagoda. It was once the tallest building in ancient Chiang Mai and formerly housed the famous Emerald Buddha.
The Ruined Beauty: In 1545, an earthquake destroyed the top portion of the chedi. Today, it remains a stunning ”ruin“ featuring stone elephant sculptures and grand Naga (serpent) staircases.
The City Pillar: Near the entrance sits Sao Inthakin, Chiang Mai’s ”City Pillar.“ It is kept in a small chapel believed to protect the city. (Note: Women are not allowed inside this specific chapel due to ancient local traditions).
Monk Chat: A unique program where you can sit and talk with monks to learn about Buddhism and Thai life while helping them practice English.
Location: Center of the Old City (Prapokkloa Road).
Opening Hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Best visited in the early morning or at sunset for photos).
Entrance Fee: 50 THB for foreigners.
Dress Code: Modest dress is required (shoulders and knees must be covered).
