The Benz EQS 580 4Matic sits at the very top of the brand’s electric lineup. The car we tested was configured through . Final price: 931,793 PLN. At this level, expectations are not just high, they’re absolute.
Exterior: The doesn’t try to look like a traditional limousine. The entire shape is built around aerodynamics, which explains the smooth, almost uninterrupted body lines. The matte Night Black Magno (+27,612 PLN) paint works well here, it adds presence without relying on aggressive styling. AMG elements and 21-inch wheels bring just enough contrast. It’s a design that makes more sense the longer you look at it.
Interior: This is where the car shifts the conversation. The Hyperscreen dominates the cabin, but it’s not just about screens, it’s about how everything is integrated. Materials, lighting, textures, it all feels considered.
This particular car was heavily optioned. The Manufaktur Selection Package (+65,286 PLN), Premium Plus (+48,391 PLN) and Rear Plus (+43,664 PLN) transform the rear into a proper lounge. Ventilated seats, massage, rear screens, tablet control. It’s clearly designed with passengers in mind.
Performance: 544 HP and 4Matic deliver 0–100 km/h in 4,4 sec., but numbers don’t define this car. What stands out is how it moves, effortlessly and without noise.
The 118 kWh battery gives up to 733 km WLTP range, which in real use translates into genuine long distance capability. Rear axle steering makes a noticeable difference in tight spaces, while Airmatic keeps everything composed regardless of road conditions.
Pricing: The base price puts the EQS 580 in a rare category, but this configuration pushes it further. With over 274,000 PLN in options, the total reaches just over 930,000 PLN. That positions it among the most expensive electric sedans currently available.
Summary: The EQS 580 is not trying to appeal to everyone and that’s clear from the first drive. It’s quiet, extremely comfortable, and focused on over engagement.
At the same time, it shows exactly where Mercedes-Benz sees the future of this segment. Whether the market fully agrees is another question.
