Last week, the Inchcape+ team attended the FPG GenZero: Stronger Together Conference – Driving E-Mobility for a Net Zero Future, held at Orchid Country Club

We had the opportunity to connect with fellow industry leaders, including Qiao Jia Zeng, COO of FairPrice Group, and Tee Seng Chan, Chief Sustainability Officer, to exchange ideas on how Singapore can accelerate the adoption of electric commercial vehicles and strengthen the EV ecosystem.

We were especially inspired by FairPrice Group’s bold leadership in green mobility. Their decisive action and clear commitment to sustainability set a powerful example for the industry. It was encouraging to see the real-world impact of their initiatives, reinforcing that electrification is not just aspirational—but achievable with the right intent and collaboration.

The keynote speech by Wee shann Lam, Deputy CEO of Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore, laid out the Why, What, and How of Singapore’s Electric Commercial Vehicles Roadmap—affirming the Government’s strong resolve in driving fleet electrification across the nation.

There was an undeniable energy in the room—shared by attendees who are united in purpose and excited to build a greener, net-zero future.

Last Friday, the Inchcape+ team had the pleasure of participating in the 19th Singapore Transport Association Golf Tournament at 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛.

It was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders—including STA Vice Chairman Mr. Oh Lai Hen—and engage in meaningful conversations with new and existing partners.

Many participants mentioned about the Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES), with many keen to explore the significance of HVZES for the future of electric heavy vehicles in Singapore.

As we continue to champion sustainable mobility, we remain committed to supporting the Singapore Transport Association in shaping the road ahead for the transport industry.
