BMW 420i came in for Bootmod3 Stage 1 Ron 95 tune plus xHP Stage 2 tune. He now enjoys better mileage with added power at Ron 95 fuel. There’s no need to go for Ron 98 unless you want to squeeze out every bit of power. We believe there will be further improvements once he drives his car normally like before. With oil prices rising, we think this is the way to go for now!

Let’s kick off the new year with a bang! This previously tuned BMW M5 Stage 2 now wants his exhaust sound fix. Hence requested us to add some mildly aggressive burbles/pops. Rejoice in this festive season. Gone are the days of long waiting time for ECU unlock for Post Year 2020+ MDG1 ECU unlock without the exorbitant price tag. This requires no opening of MDG1 ecu. Even after software updates which does not include a bootloader, the unlock patch still remains. If the ecu update removes the unlock, there’s no need to send it back and we will be able to perform the bench obd patch. This is great news for many cars using this series of ECU like BMW, Mercedes and Lotus with VAG group and more coming! This brings the end of a hiatus in tuning these ECUs. This is also available for EMS71 found in most Mercedes A, B ,CLA, GLB 180 and 200 and SID212 found in Fords. However, EMS71 and SID212 required opening of the ECU cover. Moving forward, we have to accept that most ECU requires this service before being able to tune, clone etc due to proprietary and other reasons. We also have express service for MDG01 ECUs but may require opening.

Simos 18.1 ECU Immo off and then clone! First we perform an immo off to allow the donor ECU to start the car. This is firstly done so that we can keep the original ecu intact. After our suspicion have been answered we proceed to open up the original ecu and start cloning.
This is not a 1 to 1 clone job. We have to edit both original and donor data to make it work.
It is not simple as ABC. And check out the super fine pin we need to solder. So if any garage, workshop if you need to get this done do look for us

BMW M5 F90 S63 4.4 V8 Twin Turbo in for tuning. This one gave us some misfiring issues right after tuning. However, it is not related to the tune. Nonetheless, upon customer request. We flash back to stock and went to check the issue. The issue was a faulty coolant tank, causing coolant to enter into the ignition coils, spark plugs and injectors causing them to short circuit. Rectification work was done and we flash it back to Stage 2 with crackles later to come as the car was on the hoist for other cosmetic works. In stock form it is 600hp and 750nm and now we raised the bar to 730hp and 980nm! We can't wait for the car to be down from the hoist and apply some crackles when it's ready!

Driving a Mercedes Benz with a 9g transmission? Ever encountered car skipping a gear and back to neutral? This could very well be an issue with the transmission control unit (TCU). Before the TCU is totally beyond salvage, it is best to get it fixed as cloning might still be possible. Cloning is a process whereby we copy the entire original data to the new tcu to make it work without the need of expensive online programming.
