Two more parts are mounted on my Supra!!! the two door mouldings are back on my Supra after something like 17 years!!! I've added two rubber pieces along both mouldings on each side. There is also a square piece in the upper rear corner. I will add some double sided tape on those squares to keep the mouldings close to the door.
It wasn't easy finding any info on what's between the moulding and the door but my solution seems to work well. I've also made my own studs that hold the moulding to the front of the door out of stainless steel.
