FROM KARTING TO CARS: PRO SR1

For many young drivers, the step from karting into cars is one of the biggest transitions in their career.

PRO SR1 is designed to make that step count.

A lightweight, aero-driven race car with no traction control, ABS or power steering. Plenty of track time. Experienced teams around you. And proper wheel-to-wheel racing from the start.

The drivers on our 2026 grid show just how different that route can look.

Charlie Jonasson has made the step directly from karting. Erik Poulsen combined SR1 racing with his international Formula 4 programme. Marcus Idrén arrived with a strong sim racing background and very limited experience in real-world car racing.

Different starting points, same place to learn.

And there is a clear route forward. From PRO SR1 into SR3 Cup and Radical Cup Europe, with skills that translate naturally into GT, sportscar and prototype racing.

Radical graduates have gone on to compete at the highest levels of motorsport, including IMSA, LMP3, LMP2 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
