platform used by the Honda Logo, while the larger CR-V was built on the Civic platform. Known as one of the earliest low emissions vehicles (in terms of nitrogen oxides) and unique character, the HR-V is now considered one of the first original crossover SUVs.

Theft of catalytic converters, a plague !!!

Our HR-V are not safe from this new wave of thefts that target our catalytic converters and with this also go other important parts that have been discontinued by Honda, such as the temperature sensor.

This small article aims to share the knowledge collected in our forumHRV and shared by facebook groups all over the internet.

The compatible catalytic converter and the oxygen probe are relatively simple parts to find. The biggest problem is finding a temperature probe that is compatible in format and parameters.
There are several brands of compatible parts, but to date I have not seen another part that works with the high degree of compatibility that this one I will tell you about.

Os nossos HR-V não estão a salvo desta nova onda de furtos que visam os nossos catalisadores e com isto vão também outras peças importantes e que foram descontinuadas pela Honda, como o sensor de temperatura.

Este pequeno artigo visa partilhar o conhecimento recolhido no nosso fórumHRV e partilhado pelos grupos de facebook por essa internet fora.

O catalisador compativel e a sonda de oxigénio são peças relativamente simples de encontrar. O problema maior é encontrar uma sonda de temperatura que seja compativel em formato e parametros.
Falam-se em várias marcas de peças compativeis, mas até à data ainda não vi outra peça a funcionar com o elevado grau de compatibilidade que esta que vos vou falar.

Honda has just announced the expansion of its European offering, with the introduction of a new model: the ZR-V. In short, a new hybrid crossover, to be positioned between the HR-V and the CR-V, which the Japanese brand points to the so-called Generation Z, but whose arrival in Europe should only take place in 2023.

The new Honda ZR-V is scheduled to arrive in Europe in 2023 and is basically the HR-V sold in the US. But it brings with it some news.

Em Fevereiro de 1999 a super motores testou um dos primeiros 14 HR-V matriculados em Portugal ( DEZ/1998 ).
Já nessa altura revelava o que se viria mais tarde a confirmar como uma certeza! O bem nascido HR-V beneficiou de todo o saber fazer dos nipónicos e é uma viatura que subsiste até hoje!
