Team Panthera -What is Formula SAE? Formula SAE is the largest international collegiate design competition held in 8 different countries in the world.

Team Panthera is an exuberant group of undergraduate students at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Enigneering Sciences and Technology(GIKI) who are designing and building a Formula SAE prototype racecar. Students are required to design, fabricate and market a single seat race car which has to undergo series of rigorous tests designed to measure its engineering excellence to its limits. The competing

students get a real-life exercise in the design, fabrication and economics of engineering a state of the art machine.

-'Panthera'? Panthera also known as 'Snow Leopard' is the state animal of Pakistan. With the most robust and sturdy design, it will compete with hundreds of others at Formula SAE Italy(Formula ATA) in September.
