The strongest organizations know that when the facts matter, independent expertise matters too.

A road crash can raise complex questions - what happened, why it happened, and what evidence supports the conclusion. Answering those questions requires more than assumptions. It requires technical expertise, systematic investigation, and an objective examination of the evidence.

Third-party investigation is not about questioning an organization.

It is about establishing facts with greater confidence.

At ADCR, our professional Road Crash Investigation & Analysis services provide organizations, insurers, legal teams, fleet operators, and individuals with independent technical expertise to examine crashes through engineering, evidence, and data.

From scene documentation and vehicle examination to crash reconstruction, causation analysis, and technical reporting, we work to determine what happened, how it happened, and why it happened.

Because when the facts matter, conclusions should be evidence-based, technically sound, and independently examined.

On 25 June 2017, Ahmedpur Sharqia witnessed one of the deadliest road tanker disasters in history.

Hundreds of lives were lost. Thousands were left grieving. And amidst the tragedy, questions remained about what actually happened.

ADCR conducted the crash investigation to uncover the facts beyond the headlines, examine the sequence of events, and understand the failures that turned a road incident into a catastrophe.

Years later, we revisit the evidence—not to reopen the tragedy, but to learn from it.

Because every crash has a story.
And every investigation should serve one purpose: to prevent the next one.

What really happened at Ahmedpur Sharqia?

On 25 June 2017, Pakistan witnessed one of the World’s deadliest road tragedies in its history. While the incident made headlines across the country, many critical questions about how the disaster unfolded remained unanswered.

In this documentary, ADCR presents an evidence-based crash investigation that examines the sequence of events through engineering analysis, crash reconstruction, and investigative methodology. The focus is not on speculation, but on understanding the factors that contributed to the tragedy and the lessons that can help prevent similar incidents in the future.

Every crash leaves behind evidence. Understanding that evidence is the first step toward improving road safety.

We invite road safety professionals, engineers, policymakers, transport operators, emergency responders, and the public to watch the documentary and join the conversation on building safer roads.

On 10 June 2026, a devastating crash on the Murree Expressway claimed the lives of multiple members of the same family and left others seriously injured. What began as a family journey ended in an unimaginable tragedy, leaving loved ones and an entire community grieving.

To determine the factors that led to this tragic incident, National Highways & Motorway Police-NHMP collaborated with ADCR to conduct a detailed Crash Investigation. The objective was not only to establish what happened, but to understand why it happened and how similar tragedies can be prevented in the future.

Every vehicle component, damaged barrier, tyre mark, and piece of physical evidence contributes to reconstructing the sequence of events. Through scientific crash investigation and evidence-based analysis, ADCR investigators identify contributing factors and develop recommendations to improve road safety, vehicle safety, and emergency response.

Road crashes are not just statistics, they represent lives lost, families shattered, and futures forever changed. Behind every investigation is a commitment to uncovering the truth, learning from every incident, and helping prevent another family from experiencing the same heartbreak.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this tragedy.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the National Highways Authority & Motorway Police for their collaboration and to the entire ADCR Investigation Team for their professionalism, dedication, and resilience throughout this challenging investigation. Their commitment to evidence-based road safety reflects our shared mission of making Pakistan’s roads safer for everyone.

Together, every investigation brings us one step closer to saving lives.
