WILL H***E 4TH AND DOMINIK OLSZOWY 5TH AT THE SUPERENDURO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

In the British GP, the last round of the 2024 SuperEnduro World Championship, Will H***e finished fifth and Dominik Olszowy sixth. Rieju takes 4th place in the world brand ranking

The 2024 SuperEnduro World Championship came to an end with the British GP, the last round held last Saturday in Newcastle.

This seventh competition was marked by a large number of enthusiasts, who were mainly cheering on the numerous local riders at the Utilita Arena stadium.

Right from the start, Rieju Factory Racing's Will H***e qualified for the SuperPole and obtained the third fastest time on a fast, but slippery and demanding track, combining natural and artificial obstacles.

With this, Will H***e started in the first final battling for the top five, a position he held until finishing in fifth place. Dominik Olszowy, who started in the second line, got caught when he reached the area of the stones, being overtaken by his rivals and being forced to move up positions to cross the finish line in seventh position.

In the second final it was Olszowy who took the lead to position himself among the front group, but first a small mistake and then a crash, delayed him, finishing eighth, while H***e was attacking and got into the fight of the leading riders, finishing fifth.

The last race of the night improved for Olszowy who made a good start among the front group, placing himself in fourth place provisionally, a position he managed to maintain for the rest of the race, obtaining his best result of this GP, finishing fourth. H***e, despite a good start, was overtaken shortly after by a group of riders, finishing seventh.

With the combination of the three Prestige class results, Will H***e finished the night in fifth place overall and Dominik Olszowy in sixth. Regarding the final standings of the 2024 SuperEnduro World Championship, Will H***e finishes in fourth place with 240 points and Dominik Olszowy is fifth with 221 points.

In the final classification of brands, Rieju has a total of 402 points, finishing in fourth place in the championship, a short distance behind third place.

💬Will H***e:

“Very happy with the fourth place in the final overall standings of the SuperEnduro World Championship this season. After each race I felt more comfortable on my Rieju MR 300. Now I'm looking forward to train well during the next months to prepare for the start of the Hard Enduro World Championship.

I want to thank all my sponsors for supporting me during this season”.

💬Dominik Olszowy:

“The British Grand Prix was great. The Newcastle track was slippery and technical, so I was hoping to get a good result. Unfortunately I made too many mistakes at the start of the first two races and couldn't find my rhythm. I managed to improve in the last final, made a good start, stayed consistent and finished fourth. In the overall standings I got sixth place. I am not satisfied with the results, I think we can fight for much more.”.

Third final position for Will H***e and sixth for Dominik Olszowy, who shone in the Superpole.
The SuperEnduro World Championship, which is in the final stretch of the season, held this past Saturday the penultimate round of 2024 in Sofia (Bulgaria).
First of all, the Superpole of this sixth round was sensational for the Rieju Factory Team rider, Dominik Olszowy, who managed to set the second best time among the seven finalists.
Then, in the first of the three finals Dominik did not have much luck, when after a good start and while battling with several riders in the leading positions, he suffered a crash that put him behind in the standings, finishing in eighth place. On the other hand, his teammate Will H***e, who started from the second row, was recovering positions throughout the race, until he finished sixth.
The third and last final of the night arrived, where the two Rieju Factory Team riders came out very motivated, maintaining a very hard-fought performance from the beginning, placing themselves after the first corners among the front group, with H***e pushing and Olszowy behind, gaining positions, although a fall in the area of the stones, delayed the Polish rider. For his part, Will continued to maintain a high pace, which allowed him to cross the finish line in an excellent second position, while Olszowy would finish seventh.
In this way, Will H***e took a well-deserved third place in the final podium of the Bulgarian GP. Meanwhile, Dominik Olszowy, despite his efforts, finished in sixth place. As far as the provisional overall standings are concerned, Will H***e is now fourth and Dominik Olszowy sixth, tied on points with the fifth placed rider.
The World Championship will end this coming weekend in Newcastle, UK, where the Rieju Factory Team riders will once again give their all.
Will H***e:
"I'm very happy tonight because I led the second race for a few laps, unfortunately then I had a crash and in the final race I finished second. I feel more and more comfortable on my Rieju after every race. Now we will train for the SuperEnduro final in the UK."

The fourth round of the 2024 SuperEnduro World Championship was held for the first time at the BT Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The track was narrow and too ratty, with a lot of logs, causing slower races than usual and where the participants got caught easily.

Representing the Rieju Factory Team, the Polish rider Dominik Olszowy competed, accompanied by the brand's new signing, British rider Will H***e, who will take part this season in both SuperEnduro and the Hard Enduro World Championship.

After the practice sessions, the riders faced the Super Pole, a timed test where Will H***e set the fifth fastest time, followed by Dominik Olszowy with the sixth fastest time in the top Prestige class.

In the first final, both H***e and Olszowy were battling among the top five in the championship for several laps of the race, with H***e finishing fourth and Olszowy fifth.

In the second, the drivers started with an inverted grid, in a race that saw constant changes at the top of the standings, with Dominik Olszowy showing great technique and physicality to sneak into the top riders and finish third, while Will H***e found himself more handicapped by the continuous hook-ups, finishing eighth.

In the third and last final of the night, the battles were intense again, with Dominik Olszowy taking fifth place, while Will H***e again found the race difficult, finishing eighth.

In the sum of the standings of the three races, Dominik Olszowy concludes the Romanian GP in fourth place and Will H***e in seventh, results that after four rounds of the SuperEnduro World Championship, Will H***e is fourth in the provisional overall standings and Dominik Olszowy fifth.

In the World Championship standings, Rieju is in third position.

The fifth round of the SuperEnduro World Championship will take place on 3 February at the MVM Dome in Budapest, Hungary.

💬Dominik Olszowy:

"It was the first SuperEnduro race in Romania and there were a lot of logs. I am happy with my riding and with my fourth position overall after the tough race in Germany. We will keep working for the next race in Hungary".

💬Will H***e:

“Pretty steady race from me tonight. I think the track didn’t help been so bad and also some mistakes on my behalf but I’m happy with the bike we work now untill the next round to make if more comfortable for me. Not a bad job with only one ride on the bike before the event. See you at the next round”.
