📣 UPPEREAST FATHER's DAY and WORLD VOLKSWAGEN DAY📣
Good PM, Volkswagen Club of Bacolod!
The club officers just wrapped up a meeting with the Megaworld Upper East management, and we have an important update regarding our upcoming display.
Due to the unpredictable weather forecast for Friday, and to make our gathering even more historic, we have officially decided to move the display to this Sunday, June 21, 2026!
By moving it to Sunday, we accomplish two great things:
☀️ Better Weather: Ensuring our beloved air-cooled rides stay safe and dry.
🎂 Double the Celebration: We get to hit the pavement and celebrate World Volkswagen Day together!
📅 UPDATED SCHEDULE, CRUISE, & ROUTE
We aren't just displaying—we are making an entrance! We’ve set up a pre-event cruise to kick off the celebration.
📍 Assembly Point: Goldenfields Commercial Complex
⏰ Call Time / Roll-in: 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM
🗺️ Parade Route: From Goldenfields, we will head out for a club parade passing through Lacson Street and turning down B.S. Aquino Drive as we make our way to our display area.
🏁 End Point / Display Venue: McDonald's Megaworld The Upper East
📋 IMPORTANT EVENT GUIDELINES & REMINDERS
To ensure we have a smooth, fun, and hassle-free day, please take note of these group rules:
🪑 Please bring your own folding chairs so you can sit back, relax, and swap stories by the cars during the display.
🤫 Management strictly prohibits open alcoholic drinks at the display area.
🗑️ CLAYGO: We are guests at The Upper East. Please maintain the cleanliness of our designated area. Pack out what you pack in, use trash bins, and make sure we leave the venue as spotless as we found it.
Let's prep those engines, shine up that chrome, and get ready for an epic Sunday cruise and display! Drop a 💯 below if you're locked in for Sunday!
