🏍️⚠️ RIDER VISIBILITY: STAY OUT OF THE BLIND SPOTS!

When riding near trucks, buses, and other heavy commercial vehicles, remember: if you can’t see their mirrors, there’s a good chance the driver can’t see you either.

🚛 Heavy vehicles have large blind spots—especially:
🔴 Directly behind the vehicle
🔴 Along both sides, particularly near the rear
🔴 Immediately in front of the truck or bus

🛡️ HOW TO STAY VISIBLE

✅ Avoid riding alongside a truck or bus for too long.
✅ Keep a safe following distance.
✅ Make sure you can see the vehicle’s side mirrors before passing.
✅ Signal early and check your surroundings before changing lanes.
✅ Pass only when there is enough space and visibility.
✅ Never squeeze between a heavy vehicle and the curb or another vehicle.
✅ Be extra cautious when the truck or bus is turning—it may swing wide or need more space.
