DON'T PAY TOO MUCH !

A customer has just contacted me about a car he has just seen advertised for sale in NZ - a Demon 170. He wanted to know if the $502,990 price was realistic. In a word - "NO". In more words - "You have to be joking".

Yes, we have imported & sold a basically zero mile 2023 Demon 170 in the past. That car had done 16 miles, was still in the wrapper. Ours was higher spec too. Yes, we know what they are all about. Do we have other super low mile examples available to us today? Yes, absolutely.

If you want a 2023 Dodge Challenger Demon 170 we have several near-zero mile examples we can supply - fully inclusive of all on roads for NZ$315,000 - $340,000.

Back in the day Bullitts were our go-to for S197 Mustangs. Well, Bullitts, GT/CS & Shelby GTs. We have just purchased this gem. One US owner then purchased in Texas in 2016 by a Kiwi & his new American bride. They drove Route 66 & stopped at Shelby American in Las Vegas. I first heard about Bryce during, of all places, my daughter's parent-teacher interview. Somehow we ended up talking more about Dodge Challengers and the USA than we did about her actual progress. Her teacher mentioned that a few years earlier, she and her husband had bought their Challenger S**tpack from Bryce. He walked me through the full history of the car — from the moment it was first registered in the US, right through every chapter of its life until it landed with Westcoast Classics. Nothing was hidden, nothing glossed over. He then invited me down to Tauranga to see it in person and take it for a test drive. From the moment I arrived, he was just genuinely helpful — no hard sell, no theatre. When I wanted to organise a pre-purchase inspection, he took the car to the workshop without any fuss. Completely accommodating, start to finish. The car was exactly as described — a stunning B5 Blue Challenger SRT Hellcat that's everything I'd been waiting for.

The kids absolutely love it. As far as they're concerned, dad's got Lightning McQueen's speed and The King's blue — The King being the Dinoco Blue 1970 Plymouth Superbird from Cars, a tribute to NASCAR legend Richard Petty and his famous Petty Blue. B5 Blue, Dinoco Blue — different shades, same energy. High praise from the little ones, and honestly, hard to argue with.
