Amazing work Nathan!

Today was ‘Bike Test Day’ at Back Track Manfeild both Issy Smith Racing and me.

Issy was out on her new Gixxer 150, while I was making sure everything was running properly after Dad had found and fixed my misfire issue from MiniGP Kings & Queens event.

My bike was running really well, although the rear was feeling a little soft. We made a few suspension adjustments and the bike felt mint! 🔥

🏁 Race 1 A/B Grade - 2nd 🥈
I got a good start and hit the lead early. Battled with Kate on her GP machine all the way to the finish. 😅🔥

🏁 Race 2 A/B Grade - 3rd 🥉
Delayed start from back of the pack. I worked my way through the field and, caught up to the lead A group riders. It was a close battle to the 🏁 , finished 3rd, which I was really happy with!

After lunch, we reversed the track and went anti-clockwise.

It was time to have some fun and just enjoy the racing!

🏁 Race 3 A/B Grade - 1st 🥇
I got another great start and lead the race to the finish. Stoked to hit a new PB🔥.

🏁 Race 4 A/B Grade - 1st 🥇
I got another lightning start and hit the front going into Turn 1. I put my head down and pushed hard, all the way to take the win at the 🏁. My lap times tumbled again…ANOTHER PB!! 🔥 and I got my elbow down again!! 🤩

What an awesome day! I had so much fun out there today and it was great to get the bike running properly again.

A massive thank you to Manawatu Mini Moto Club for another awesome day of racing and being such an inclusive and supportive club for us kids! 🙏🏻

What an awesome weekend!
Big turn up, a lot of learning, and definitely a lot of fun!
Well done to all the competitors, and organisers, but the most beautiful thing is to see the bonds and the friendships growing, from kids to adults, supporting each other!
It’s just like a big moving family.
